Cake Pre-Orders & Pickup Policy

• Handmade & Perishable: All our pet cakes are made from scratch with human-grade, pet-friendly ingredients. Because items are perishable and custom-made, all sales are final once preparation or baking has started.

• Off-Site Kitchen Location: Please note that we do not have a kitchen inside our retail stores. All cakes are prepared fresh at an off-site location and brought to the store specifically for your scheduled pickup.

• Pickup Only: All cakes are strictly Local Pickup Only at your selected store location (Aurora or Lombard, IL).

• Contact Information & Confirmation: Please double-check that your email address and cell phone number are entered correctly at checkout. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder if you do not see your confirmation email or pickup notifications.

• Changes & Cancellations: Cancellation or modification requests must be submitted at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to your scheduled pickup date. Once a cake is prepared or baked, no refunds, store credits, or modifications can be issued.

• Unclaimed & Abandoned Cakes (No-Show Policy):

  • We will hold your cake for up to 3 days following your selected pickup date.

  • After 3 days, unclaimed cakes must be discarded for food safety reasons.

  • Uncollected, abandoned, or discarded orders are strictly non-refundable. Abandoning an order does not entitle the buyer to a refund, store credit, or credit card chargeback, as ingredients, labor, and store capacity were reserved exclusively for your order.

• Pickup Verification & Order Acceptance:

  • Upon pickup, our staff will present the cake for your inspection to confirm everything is correct.

  • Once accepted and handed over, It's So Fluffy Pet Bakery is no longer responsible for any damage incurred during transport or handling.

  • If you damage the cake after handover, repairs may be offered for an additional fee depending on availability.
